NEW WASTEWATER TREATMENT PROCESS FOR HIGH BOD LOADED WASTEWATERS Effluent Treatment Innovations has spent the past few years piloting and developing a new process for the wastewater treatment industry, especially for high BOD loaded wastewaters. We started off with Landfill Leachate to test its resilience to shock loading and then conducted a long trial on municipal wastewater to develop the process flow to include a sludge reduction process. This process worked very well and boasted very short retention times and generated very little sludge waste. We call this new process Moving Bed Sludge Reduction Process (MBSR) and we believe that it would be very suited to very high BOD loaded wastewaters such as that from the Meat Processing (Including the blood) and the Dairy industry and are currently looking for opportunities with new partners, investors and companies within Ireland who can help us develop and commercialize this process.
