WaterStillar® Water Works

WaterStillar® Water Works (patented) is our version of a multiple effect distillation apparatus. It is simple, highly energy effective and can be assembled after only a few hours of training. It is a number of stacked sheets working by natural convection, gravity and natural thermodynamics. 

We use thermal solar collectors to power the distillation process and if needed, we add electrical power to run the system 24/7 or on a cloudy day. The GOR of the system is betweeen 3-5, so electrical or other thermal hot energy sources make sense to use.

The core unit can distill any kind of feed water - salt, brackish, contaminated - and will give the same quality of distilled water over time.

The WaterStillar Water Works base system contains 3 units and is powered by 20 highly efficient vacuum type solar tubes. This base system produce up to 150 liter of drinking water pr day. Footprint is less than 3 m3 and the system is weighing app 500 kgs. The system requires electricity for pumps /heaters but can be run 100% off grid, using PV driven pumps.
