G2O Water in Scientific American

G2O Water CEO Tim Harper, one of the members of the World Economic Forum’s Council on Emerging Technologies, authored an article published by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Scientific American looking at the potential of Two-Dimensional Materials including their use in water filtration.

Two-Dimensional Materials are one of WEF’s Top Ten Emerging Technologies for 2016.

One of the criteria for inclusion in the Top Ten was the likelihood that 2016 represents a tipping point in the deployment of each technology, so the list includes some technologies that have been known for a number of years, but are only now reaching a level of maturity where their impact can be meaningfully felt.

The articles can be found on the World Economic Forum web site or at Scientific American, and the full list of technologies can be found here.
